Northside Festival, Brooklyn's largest annual discovery festival, is proud to announce that CHVRCHES will be headlining one of two free shows in McCarren Park on June 14 and 15. On Sunday, June 15, the Scottish synth-pop giants will take the stage in front of a 6,000-capacity outdoor space at the corner of Bedford Avenue and N 12th Street. Stay tuned for more of the lineup and Saturday's headliner at northsidefestival.com.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. both days with music kicking off at 4 p.m. The shows are all ages, rain or shine. While both Saturday and Sunday shows are free, RSVPs are required for entry on a first-come, first-served basis. To be the first to learn when RSVPs to CHVRCHES open to the general public, sign up here for Northside Media Group's "Brooklyn Briefly" newsletter. Please note, an RSVP does not ensure admission, so it'd be best to arrive at the show early.

Premium and Music badge-holders are guaranteed entry, however, so there's no need to RSVP if you purchase a badge. You'll automatically have a spot at the show. Buy badges here: http://northsidefestival.com/2014-badges/

Northside Festival will feature over 400 bands, 100 speakers and 50 films during an eight-day event taking over venues across Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Confirmed bands include Sharon Van Etten, f Buttons, Omar Souleyman, Titus Andronicus and many more. Early bird Music badges ($65) and Premium badges ($275) are on sale now at: http://northsidefestival.com.

Northside is very proud to welcome back Jameson Irish Whiskey and introduce VH1 and Palladia as Platinum partners to the 2014 Festival. As in years past, Jameson is sure to bring some authentic Irish hospitality and its independent spirit to celebrate the local Brooklyn community. A huge thanks to all for their support. Stay tuned for more details on the creative activations they will be showcasing this June.
