CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, posted year-to-year increases in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for July 24.

The broadcast delivered 5.26 million viewers and a 1.0/06 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +13% in viewers (from 4.65m) and +11% in adults 25-54 (from 0.9/06).

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 5.97 million viewers (+1% from 5.92m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.3/07) compared to last year. CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program in these measures.

Sunday's broadcast was anchored by Jane Pauley and featured Tracy Smith's profile of actress Kristen Bell; Ted Koppel's interview with Republican nominee Donald Trump; Mo Rocca's look at the city of Philadelphia; Faith Salie's report on first gentlemen-- the men married to women holding top elected positions in government; Anthony Mason's story about the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program; David Pogue's report on the final leg of the Solar Impulse plane's around-the-world journey; and Bob Schieffer's commentary on political conventions.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
