CAROLE KING Performs at In-Home Fundraiser for MA Senator
The New York Post's Page Six reports that music - and now Broadway - legend Carole King is using her talent to promote politics. In a fundraiser for Ed Markey, junior senator of Massachusetts, King performed for donors in the home of Lois Robbins.
Robbins hosted the event in her Upper East Side home this past Friday night. Guests included: Michael Douglas, Patricia Duff, Kenneth Cole and Maria Cuomo Cole, Leonard Lauder, Kiki Kennedy, Richard and Marcia Mishaan and Ambassador Elizabeth Bagley.
Robbins is currently working on Ithica, a film directed by Meg Ryan and produced by her many time co-star Tom Hanks.
