Bruno Mars to Return as SUPER BOWL Halftime Headliner?

Entertainment Weekly reports that the NFL has asked superstar Bruno Mars to make a return appearance as the headlining act for the SUPER BOWL's golden anniversary. SUPER BOWL 50's halftime show will be broadcast live from Santa Clara, California.

Many will recall Mar's 2014 electrifying performance at SUPER BOWL XLVIII halftime show, with a guest appearance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The appearance marked the most-watched halftime show ever until the following year, when Katy Perry took the stage to entertain the SUPER BOWL crowd.

Mars is currently riding high with his uber-hit, Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk." Representatives for Mars and the NFL did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.
