Bright Light Bright Light's new album Choreography debuts this week at #39 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and continues to garner critical acclaim-The Huffington Post declares it's "Just the thing to get you moving."

The video for "Symmetry Of Two Hearts," featuring Elton John, recently premiered via The Huffington Post. Watch the video, with choreography by Broadway movement director Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, The Crucible, The Last Ship) here.

"The song was written during the polar vortex in New York," says Bright Light Bright Light, a.k.a. vocalist and producer Rod Thomas, of "Symmetry of Two Hearts." "It was so cold in my apartment I wanted to feel warm and summery again so I tried to write the most summer sounding song I could. I rewatched some of my favorite movies and dance sequences for inspiration, and this track is inspired by Kim Cattrall's dance sequence in Mannequin, which I think is one of the most joyful four or so minutes in 80s cinema."

Bright Light Bright Light will celebrate the release of Choreography with a U.S. tour kicking off this fall. Thomas will play New York's Rough Trade September 9 and Los Angeles' The Satellite September 14, along with many more. See below for full tour routing.

Thomas recently made his late night television debut on the U.K.'s "The Graham Norton Show" with Elton John, performing "All In The Name." Watch it here.

Inspired by films from Big Trouble in Little China to Romy and Michele,Amelie to A Bout de Soufflé, Choreography finds Thomas collaborating with longtime friends including John, Alan Cumming, Scissor Sisters'Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis, "The Wiz Live"'s Mykal Kilgore, and more.

Thomas recorded and produced the album entirely on his own in London and New York. "I knew I wanted to call it Choreography and thought about what it was that interested me about it; the unison, how dance makes you feel," he says of the recording process. "I thought about dancing being banned in New York and about how good it makes you feel. I thought about choreographing my life in London and New York. I DJ a lot, my job is to make people dance and I love watching people dance. That was important for me for the record."

The new music follows two whirlwind years since the release of Bright Light Bright Light's 2014 album Life Is Easy, which saw Thomas touring the world with Elton John, playing his own headline dates across Europe and North America, moving to New York and more.

Thomas, born in Wales and based in both London and New York, formed Bright Light Bright Light in 2010 and has since released two LPs, 2012's Make Me Believe In Hope and 2014's Life is Easy.
