Fast-rising, breakout artist TOULOUSE's latest single "It Is Well" premieres today-listen here. TOULOUSE wrote "It Is Well" during a time of reflection on the current refugee crisis. The track champions the idea of not losing hope in the face of adversity.

TOULOUSE, born in Nigeria, is a vocalist, songwriter and producer currently residing in New York. "It Is Well" follows his previously released tracks, "So I Know You Care" and "I Will Follow You," which is the soundtrack to Apple's viral "Balloons" commercial with over 5 million views-watch and listen here. Most recently, TOULOUSE was featured on the Billboard #1 album soundtrack, Fifty Shades Darker, for his track "No Running From Me," which he wrote, produced, recorded and sang as one of the only debut artists on the album alongside ZAYN, Taylor Swift, John Legend and more.

Of "It Is Well," TOULOUSE says, "I once tweeted to my six Twitter followers to 'Find a song that makes you cry.' An old hymn called 'It Is Well' did that to me, so I echoed with my response in the same name. The song is inspired by those who are burdened and suffering silently, but still put one foot in front of the other everyday to get to the finish line."

TOULOUSE wrote, produced and self-released his debut single, "So I Know You Care," in 2016. The track quickly attracted a global audience and caught the attention of Elton John, Zane Lowe, and more. "So I Know You Care" shot to #1 on Spotify's Global Viral chart. Shortly after, TOULOUSE released his second track "I Will Follow You" in tandem with Apple's "Balloons" commercial. Pigeons and Planes hailed the track as "a gorgeous cover from a must watch artist," and it has garnered over 5 million streams to date. Further music from TOULOUSE is set for release this year in partnership with Terrible Records.
