Brantley Gilbert's always pushed the edge when it comes to music. The man with back-to-back platinum albums will bring his Black Out Tour to Giant Center on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 PM. Special guests for the night will be Canaan Smith and Michael Ray.
Tickets for this show are $34.75 and $39.75 (processing fees apply). They are available at Giant Center Box Office. They can be charged by phone at 717-534-3911 or 800-745-3000, and online at www.HersheyEntertainment.com or www.TicketMaster.com.
"If you're gonna take it on the road, do it," the man who won last year's American Music Award for Favorite Country Album explains. "If you're gonna push the music, don't be afraid to put it out there. People around the world get the idea about what we do: these songs are about living life in hard places, but standing up when you do. That's a universal thing, so let's do it. "
"Music is music," says Gilbert, who also wrote Jason Aldean's chart-topping "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party" philosophically. "I don't care what you call it, as long as you let me play it my way. I know where these songs came from, what they mean, how they played out - and that is how me and the boys try to bring'em."
"This is why I do this," Gilbert says. "To take it to the people. I want to rock hard and tell the truth and see it in their eyes. My fans know what I'm talking about, and they come for that reason. It's not for everybody, but it's its own kind of Country... and being out in some of the secondary markets, the kind of places I came up, that feels just like home."
Gilbert's unrelenting brand of Country has notched six #1s "Country Must Be Country Wide," "You Don't Know Her Like I Do," "Bottoms Up" and "One Hell of An Amen," as well as his two Aldean smashes.

The wristband policy will be in effect for this concert. Fans are permitted on the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex property beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, November 6. Two hours prior to the on-sale, fans will be directed in front of Giant Center Box Office, where they will be issued a numbered wristband. Wristbands are available for one hour, and at the conclusion of that hour, a selected fan will randomly choose a wristband that will determine the line order. For example: If 1,000 wristbands are issued during that hour and the number 500 is selected, the person wearing wristband 500 will be the first person in line. Numbers 501 to 1,000 will proceed in line behind, followed by numbers 1 through 499. Once the line is in place, fans arriving after the wristbands were issued will be escorted to the end of the numbered line.
