The Bob Bonis Archive, representing the world's largest collection of never-before-released photographs of The Beatles and Rolling Stones taken by U.S. Tour Manager Bob Bonis (1964-1966), today announced a partnership with NewBay Media, the world's leading provider of music content, and publisher of Guitar Aficionado, Guitar World, Guitar Player and many other magazines for musicians and music enthusiasts.

The partnership kicks off in the November issue of Guitar Aficionado with 10 iconic photographs of The Beatles and Rolling Stones in a feature article, available now. The photographs, along with backstories of each, are available for purchase now at bobbonis.com/guitaraficionado.

Over the coming year, NewBay will offer a curated selection of Bob Bonis photographs, highlighting The Beatles' and Rolling Stones' gear, as strictly limited edition fine art prints which will be featured in an ongoing series of articles, newsletters and promotions in NewBay's music print publications, in their online editions, and through co-branded galleries on the BobBonis.com website.

Through the Archive's partnership with The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live, each limited edition photograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Museum. A portion of the proceeds of each print sold benefits the Museum's efforts.

Bill Amstutz, Vice President and General Manager of NewBay Media's Music Group said: "We are more than excited to bring these important images to our readers and subscribers, in keeping with our commitment to provide musicians, professionals and enthusiasts the most compelling content in the world of music. These images represent one of the most important eras in rock history, and capture priceless moments of music legends using some of the most unique and famous instruments of the time."

Larry Marion, Curator of The Bob Bonis Archive added: "The Beatles and Rolling Stones are two of the most influential bands of all time, and they could not have created the enduring and influential music they did without both their talent and the unique instruments they used. The photographs we will be releasing in partnership with NewBay Media reflect a pivotal time in rock history that changed the world forever."

About THE BOB BONIS ARCHIVE

The Bob Bonis Archive is considered one of the most important photographic discoveries in the world of rock music. From 1964 through 1966, Bob Bonis was the American tour manager for both The Beatles and Rolling Stones, accompanying both bands on their historic first U.S. tours - coming to and conquering America, and heralding The British Invasion.

During his career, Bonis shot more than 5,000 photographs of the most legendary acts in music history including: 2,700 Rolling Stones photos, 800 Beatles photos, plus an eclectic mix of images encompassing Frank Sinatra, The Lovin' Spoonful, Simon & Garfunkel, Chicago, Cream, The Hollies, Peter and Gordon and many of the jazz greats with whom he worked over the years.

Most of these recently discovered photographs have never before been published, made available for purchase, or ever even seen by fans and collectors. Bob Bonis' contribution to rock history is a magnificent collection of more than 3,500 historic photographs of two of the greatest bands in the world - The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The unguarded and personal nature of these images reflect Bonis' close friendship with the bands and offers a private, behind-the-scenes look into the early days of the historic British Invasion era of rock 'n' roll.

The Bob Bonis Archive has partnered with Rare Photo Archives to present, for the first time, the images of Bob Bonis as limited edition fine art prints, each hand numbered, embossed with the Bob Bonis Estate seal, and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity from The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live, and to make these images available for sale to fans and collectors around the world. For more information, go to BobBonis.com.
