Join Binghamton native Michael O'Connell on Monday, August 17 at 7:30 PM as he returns to the area to record a new album at the Firehouse!

O'Connell, a graduate of Binghamton High School and Binghamton University, is a jazz musician now living in Sterling, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

O'Connell will lead his quartet in an evening of jazz standards and original compositions, recording the event for what will be his second live album and fifth full-length album overall. Several of O'Connell's original compositions will also be recorded at the theatre at a closed-door session earlier in the day for future release on iTunes and amazon.com.

The quartet includes Michael O'Connell (piano and vocals), Dan Miller (saxophones and flute), Dan Fabricius (percussion) and Jeff Guevin (bass).
