Bebel Gilberto Signs to Sony Music Masterworks; New Album Arrives July 2014

Internationally acclaimed and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Bebel Gilberto has signed with Sony Music Masterworks' imprint Portrait Records. The label will release her new album Tudo! on July 29, 2014, coinciding with an international tour.

Bebel Gilberto is one of the most internationally famous and beloved of Brazilian musicians. The daughter of bossa nova immortal Joao Gilberto, Bebel has sold over 2.5 Million albums worldwide since her debut in 2000. On her first album for Masterworks/Portrait, she reunites with Mario C. (Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson), who co-produced her first, landmark album Tanto Tempo. Singing in French, English, and Portuguese, Bebel has recorded a shimmering, sweet, summery collection that includes songs by her father, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Neil Young, and others, as well as original new tunes.
