BEATPORT, the world's largest dance music community and music store for DJs, announced today a new remix contest via BEATPORT PLAY, an innovative platform where DJs and producers can download free stems from original hit tracks, remix them, and compete against each other in multiple contests running in parallel; winning remixes are then released officially by the contest's host label. The contest to remix Tiësto's "Take Me" launches today, Tuesday, August 13 with submissions accepted through September 9. Winners will be announced October 8.

When it comes to Tiësto, even the word "legendary" doesn't quite do the gentleman justice. He's topped BEATPORT charts with each release, sold millions of records, and, over the course of his 20-year career, has established himself as a true leader in dance music. Naturally BEATPORT PLAY is excited to be able to offer a chance to remix his track "Take Me," which comes from the latest installment of his Club Life album series, Vol. 3-Stockholm. Submit the winning remix to have it officially released by Tiësto's Musical Freedom label, along with taking home an Acer Aspire P3 Ultrabook and a pair of limited-edition Tiësto x AKG headphones.
