He is one of popular music's most deeply revered figures, the main creative force behind some of the most cherished recordings in rock history. It is no exaggeration to call Brian Wilson one of the most influential composers of the last century and he comes to the State Theatre with special guest Al Jardine on Friday, October 23.

Show time is 7:30 PM. Tickets are $85 (Gold Circle)/ $76/ $62 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by 99.9 The Hawk and N. Pugliese, Inc.

Brian Wilson was barely out of his teens when he began to create some of the most beloved records ever... nine consecutive "gold" albums that featured such classics as "Surfer Girl," "In My Room," "I Get Around," "Don't Worry Baby," "Fun, Fun, Fun," "Help Me Rhonda" and "California Girls"...just to name a handful of the more than two dozen Top 40 hits Brian co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed on with his family band, the Beach Boys.

As he battled many personal demons, Wilson's contributions to the Beach Boys diminished, and his erratic behavior led to tensions with the band. After years of treatment and recuperation, he began performing and recording consistently as a solo artist where his talents continued to shine. On the Beach Boys' 50th anniversary, Wilson briefly returned to record and perform with the group.

Wilson's honors include being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 as a member of The Beach Boys and winning Grammy Awards for Brian Wilson Presents Smile (2004) and The Smile Sessions (2011). In lists published by Rolling Stone, Wilson ranked 52nd for the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" in 2008 and 12th for the "100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time" in 2015.

Al Jardine is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a founding member of The Beach Boys, of whom he was a member from 1961 until 1962, again in 1963 until 1998, and lastly in 2012. A core member of the band, Jardine recorded 25 studio albums with The Beach Boys and was the lead vocalist on a number of the band's songs, including, "Help Me, Rhonda", "Then I Kissed Her", "I Know There's an Answer", and "Lady Lynda". In 2010, Jardine released his debut solo studio album, A Postcard from California.
