Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces additional artists for the 2014-2015 season at The Barns at Wolf Trap: folk-rock legend Art Garfunkel (March 29-30), Grammy award-winning African songstress Dobet Gnahoré (January 8), baroque-pop band San Fermin (January 30), folk favorite Schooner Fare(January 31) and vintage-pop singer-songwriter Kat Edmonson (February 28). Several opening acts were also added to the season, including Dom Flemons, opening for alt-rockers Civil Twilight (December 4).

The additions bring the total number of 2014-15 performances to 56, with additional performances to be announced in November 2014. In keeping with Wolf Trap's mission, The Barns' schedule is developed to highlight artistic exploration and accessibility to a broad range of music lovers. Artists span musical genres, from rock, jazz, blues, country, classical and world music, and most tickets are $35 or less.

With its informal setting and stunning architecture, The Barns at Wolf Trap is a one-of-a-kind musical experience. Comprised of two 18th-century barns made of hand-hewn wood beams and panels, the space is noted for its acoustic excellence and historic charm.

Tickets for most performances are on-sale now and added performances go on sale to the public Friday, October 24.
