Dutch record company Armada Music has received no less than 18 nominations for this year's International Dance Music Awards. The four-times winner of the 'Best Global Record Label' award is once again in the running of prolonging their title. Maykel Piron, CEO and co-founder of Armada Music, is nominated for 'Best Record Label Executive' after receiving the awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Armin van Buuren, one of the co-founders of the label, received 10 nominations in 9 different categories.

Armin van Buuren, the current number one DJ in the critically acclaimed DJ Mag Top 100, received nominations for 'Best Global DJ', 'Best Producer', 'Best Radio Mix Show DJ' for his A State of Trance radio show and more. Tracks by Dash Berlin, Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren and the collaboration of Arty, Nadia Ali & BT were nominated for 'Best Trance Track'. Next to Armada Music's nomination for 'Best Global Record Label', one of its imprints - Coldharbour Recordings - is also in the running for the prestigious award. Markus Schulz, the label-owner of Coldharbour, also received nominations for 'Best Global DJ', 'Best Radio Mix Show DJ' on his Global DJ Broadcast radio show and 'Best Full Length DJ Mix' on his much appraised 'Los Angeles '12' compilation.
