Ariana Grande Reveals Barbarella-Inspired New Single 'Break Free' Coming 7/1!

On Saturday, Ariana Grande used Instagram to tease her next single 'Break Free' would be a "Barbarella"-inspired tune that would be out "soon." Yesterday, the pop star revealed on Twitter that she has begun a 10-day countdown for the songs July 1st release!

"told u i meant soon" tweeted Grande, adding #10daysuntilbreakfree". Check out the Instagram photo at left!

Grande released her debut album, Yours Truly which landed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The album spawned the Top 10 hit "The Way". She recently became the first female singer whose first album debuted atop of the US charts since Ke$ha's "Animal" in 2010.

The singer/actress, who starred on Broadway in '13', is best known for her starring role as Cat Valentine, in theNickelodeon hit series Sam & Cat. The series premiered in June 2013.
