The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks; Artistic Director, Roger T. Danforth) presents a special CD pre-release concert of the studio cast recording of the new musical Perfect Picture, based on the life of illustrator and American icon Norman Rockwell, with music by Gail C. Bluestone and lyrics by Eileen Bluestone Sherman, featuring the voices of a dozen of Broadway's most celebrated stars.

Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins Broadway), Tony Award nominee Andrea McArdle (Annie), and Tony Award-winner Lillias White (The Life) will debut songs they originated for the recording during an exclusive pre-release concert. Also performing will be Tony Award winner Ron Holgate (1776), Tony Award nominee Mark Jacoby (Showboat) and Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner (42nd Street). Lyricist Eileen Bluestone Sherman hosts this evening of songs from this new musical, tonight at 7:00 p.m., as part of the Fall 2013 Programming Schedule of special performances, events and educational offerings at the new Drama League Theater Center in Tribeca (32 Avenue of the Americas).

Produced by Joshua A. Sherman and Eileen Bluestone Sherman at MSR Studios in New York City, Perfect Picture offers both Rockwell enthusiasts and Broadway lovers a unique insight into the life of an American legend. With a combination of poignant love songs, driving musical theatre numbers, hot jazz, comical ditties, and even a new Christmas song for the holidays, Perfect Picture has something for everyone.

Tickets priced at $25 include the concert and a copy of the Perfect Picture CD recording and may be purchased by visiting the website at www.dramaleague.org/special events. Following the concert, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine as performers autograph copies of the CD.

The Drama League also offers special performances on Broadway and Off-Broadway, as well as open rehearsals, backstage tours, play readings, intimate gatherings with legendary stars, behind-the-scenes discussions with industry titans, day trips to world-class theatres, and more.
