American Idol LIVE! Kicks Off Tour in Detroit, 7/6; Tickets on Sale 5/11

American Idol LIVE! will return to Detroit's Joe Louis Arena to launch the 2012 tour on Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The hit tour is the first chance to see this season's talented top 10 finalists in concert to include Deandre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone and Erika Van Pelt.

Tickets ($29.50, $45 and $65) go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. The American Idol season finale will air on FOX May 23rd, but the fan-favorites will continue on with the 2012 live tour.
