This winter, MGM Resorts International will present entertainment, nightlife, sports and special events at Mandalay Bay, featuring the American Country Awards, Maroon 5, P!NK, Carrie Underwood, Muse, Rihanna, One Direction and Muse. Check out the listing below!

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS
The third-annual American Country Awards offers country music fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories, but also in a previously unrecognized area – touring – encompassing the entire spectrum of country music. Hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth, the event also will feature appearances by Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Casey James, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Brice, Jana Kramer, Dustin Lynch and Chris Young. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town are set to perform.

MAROON 5
Following the release of its bestselling new album, Overexposed, GRAMMY Award-winning recording artist Maroon 5 will perform two special New Year’s weekend shows at the Mandalay Bay Events Center December 29 – 30. Maroon 5 will then return to the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, March 16 as part of their 2013 North American tour. Overexposed features a series of chart-topping singles including “Payphone,” which went to No. 1 on both the Top 40 and Hot AC charts, and “One More Night,” which has been at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.

GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter and pop culture icon P!nk will take over the Mandalay Bay Events Center Friday, Feb. 15, marking the second stop on The Truth About Love Tour presented by COVERGIRL. P!nk, known worldwide as one of the most captivating live performers of her generation, will tour North America in support of her new album The Truth About Love. Since her debut in 2000, she has sold more than 40 million albums, 65 million singles, nearly 20 million digital tracks, more than one million DVDs and has had 12 singles in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Carrie Underwood
Superstar Carrie Underwood will continue her critically acclaimed Blown Away Tour in 2013 including a stop at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, March 2. Blown Away debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The album’s first two singles, “Good Girl” and “Blown Away,” both also reached No. 1. A donation of $1 from each ticket sold on the North American leg of the Blown Away Tour will support Red Cross disaster relief.

MUSE
Since 1994, Muse has released five studio albums, selling more than 15 million albums worldwide. The group, Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme, comes to the Mandalay Bay Events Center shortly after releasing its sixth album The 2nd Law. Muse’s previous album The Resistance reached No. 1 in 19 countries worldwide and won numerous awards including a Best Rock Album GRAMMY Award. In July, Muse’s song “Survival” was used as the official song of the 2012 Olympic Games.

One Direction
The English-Irish boy band One Direction will perform at Mandalay Bay Events Center August 2 – 3 as part of its

2013 World Tour. One Direction was formed after its five members competed in the seventh season of the British television competition “The X Factor.” The group’s two albums Up All Night and Take Me Home, released in 2011 and 2012 respectively, broke several records, topped the charts and generated the singles “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Live While We’re Young.”
