Alice Ripley covers a folk classic made famous by James Taylor!

"The water is wide, / I can't cross over, / and neither have I wings to fly," Ripley passionately sings in the new clip.

Tony Award-winning Broadway superstar Alice Ripley has recently been utilizing her SoundCloud account to share a series of intriguing and entertaining clips and she now presents an impressive new selection, a cover of the Irish folk song popularized by James Taylor, "The Water Is Wide".

Of note, earlier this year, Ripley also released a song now available to hear in full from SUGAR! titled "Darling", as well as several scenes from Edward Albee's acclaimed play WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?

Plus, Ripley also released a drum-accented take on the popular Alicia Keys song "New York State Of Mind", as well as an acoustic take on the tune.

Additionally, Ripley also shared a clip of herself alongside Japanese NEXT TO NORMAL lead Gen Parton Shin on the score standout "I'm Alive", as well.
