Alejandro Sanz, one of the world's most internationally renowned artists, will perform the worldwide television premiere of his recently released single, "Un Zombie a la Intemperie," atthe 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm®. The longest-running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world will be produced and broadcast live on Telemundo Thursday, April 30, at 7pm/6c from BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. Singer and songwriter Alejandro Sanz has sold more than 23 million albums. The most Grammy-Award-winning Spanish artist in the world has released 15 albums, including nine studio recordings, all of which have gone platinum in Spain, Latin America and the United States. Alejandro has one of the largest following in social media among Hispanic artists, with nearly 10 million followers on Twitter and more than four million on Facebook. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Shakira, Alicia Keys, The Corrs, Calle 13, Joaquín Sabina, Dani Martin, Ivete Sangalo, Laura Pausini and the legendary Tony Bennett, among others.

Alejandro Sanz recently announced, that his upcoming album "Sirope" would be released in May 2015. Proving his worldwide social media influence, he utilized that same platform to release the single "Un Zombie a la Intemperie," and within hours #ASZombie became a trending topic. The song reached the top of the sales charts in 15 countries, and the single's video has been seen more than 2.6 million times on VEVO/YouTube in the span of just two weeks since release. Alejandro Sanz has chosen the stage of the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards for the worldwide television premiere of his performance of "Un Zombie a la Intemperie".

Alejandro's career in music began in Spain in the 1990s, with his first album "Viviendo Deprisa" in 1991, which became the top selling album of the year. This record was followed by two other hit albums: "Si tú me miras" (1993) and "Alejandro Sanz 3" (1995), yet it was his 1997 album "Más" that launched him to international fame, selling over five million copies; and the success continues many albums later.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm, hosted by actress and TV host Gaby Espinoand Mexican music singer Pedro Fernandez, will also feature performances by multi-faceted urban music star Wisin; mega-star Daddy Yankee; urban music breakout act J Balvin; international star Carlos Vives; Regional Mexican chart topper Julion Alvarez y Su Norteño Banda; Mexican songstress Ana Gabriel, beloved singer and actress Lucero; and special honorees Roberto Carlos and Carlos Santana.

Topping the list of this year's finalists are Romeo Santos (21 entries), Enrique Iglesias (19), J Balvin (12),Marc Anthony (7), Drake (7), Descemer Bueno (6), Gente de Zona (6), Julion Alvarez y Su Norteño Banda (6), Farruko (6) and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga (6).
