Adele Announces New Album '25' to be Released in 2015
According to complex.com, Adele has announced that 2015 will be her return to the charts and on the road. The appropriately titled 25 will come out this year as tweeted out by the World Music Awards account.
Adele is poised to return to her throne and hopefully shake the music world up again, but the real question is the theme of the album. 21 was filled with break up anthems, but with all of her success since it's release, 25 could be a lighter and happier album this time.
For Adele, toppling the success of "21″ in the eye of the public will be difficult. In a two year span, Adele dominated the music scene with chart-topping singles "Rolling in the Deep", "Set Fire to the Rain", and "Someone Like You", all number one hits in the U.S. This success would lead "21″ to diamond status, having sold ~11 million units in the United States and over 30 million worldwide. At the Grammy's, Adele would pull off a magnificent sweep, winning 6 of the 6 awards the recording artist was nominated for.
Adele would follow up her 21 success with the theme song for 2012 James Bond "Skyfall" which was awarded a Grammy Award in 2014 for "Best Song Written for Visual Medium" and an Academy Award-the first of her career-for "Best Original Song"
There is no set release date for Adele's third studio album.
