Aaron Lee Tasjan is bringing his own distinct version of indie folk grit to the City Winery in New York City February 18th. As a live performer, Tasjan's stories between songs, often humorous and at least half true, take us back to the days of Arlo Guthrie or John Prine, while his songs about eating junk food and taking drugs--or how it seems everything around us is in some way broken--offer stunning lyrical accounts and insights.

A native of New Albany, Ohio, Tasjan now lives in Nashville, TN and has worked and toured with an array of renowned talents including Peter Yarrow, The New York Dolls, BP Fallon and Alberta Cross (among others), as a guitarist, songwriter and producer. He's now receiving nods and accolades for his work as a solo songwriter and performer developing a style that he coins as, "somewhere between a folk singer and the dude with no shirt on as the wind blows through his hair as a fing eagle lands on his guitar neck."
