AMYCANBE is Now With GM Records

Italy has again produced an amazing band of talents in the form of Amycanbe. And Guitarmonk Records is proud to present to you a striking and crisp music from Amycanbe!

Back in 2002, Marco and Mattia formed Amycanbe and later on was joined by Francesca and Paolo. The tetrad did live performances in the local bars, clubs and theatres. Their 5-song self-produced demo caught the attention of music critics and it led to their fame and success in the industry. In 2005, the same year that opened opportunities to The Devastations, Yuppie Flu, Sophia and Skin, Amycanbe was included in the playlist of the best debutant Italian Indie Band as placed by Blow Up Magazine and they even found their way onstage at the Roma Rock Festival.

Producer Mario Thaler helped bring their dream to life by releasing their debut album, "Being a Grown-Up Sure is Complicated" in October 2007, followed by their first UK tour where Amycanbe played in Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield and Oxford. Amycanbe also held their album launch at 12 Bar in London, had radio sessions for BBC and held their 2nd UK Tour that highlighted their artistry by performing in well-known music venues such as the Komedia in Brighton, The Gander in Bournemouth, and The Borderline or Scala in London. One of the greatest exposure and experience that marked a new musical path and spearheaded a new project for Amycanbe was a gig for the International Festival, "Assalti Al Cuore" in Rimini, Italy. And after the successful engagements in and around Italy, on the 25th of May 2011, the EP called "The World is Round" was finally out and was preceded by "Everywhere," a new single and video that made headlines in blogs and magazines like Listenbeforeyoubuy, Kismet Magazine (7.1 Million readers worldwide) and the London Music Blog. MTV New Generation, VIVA and many others also played their videos. Finally, a brand new album was launched late October of 2011, titled "Mountain Whales," also in numbered vinyl special edition by Feedbands.
