R&B's reemergence and adaptation within other genres has been controversial, yet exciting for music lovers alike. 300 Entertainment's MikexAngel is looking to make his mark in the ever bending genre. With narcotised lyrics wrapped in unclouded instrumentals, MikexAngel exclusively premiered his debut single, "One Time" with Earmilk. The Virginia native and Trey Songz protégé's velvety voice softens seemingly frank lyrics like, "what's with all the small talk / 'cause I ain't come to chill tonight / you know exactly what I want."

While attending Viriginia State, Mike gained notoriety for his YouTube covers of songs by Trey Songz, Drake, and Jhené Aiko. Fulfilling his dream of working with his now mentor, MikexAngel wrote several songs for Trey Songz's projects like, Trigga and Intermission I & II. Trey recognized MikexAngel's potential to stretch beyond songwriting, landing him a recording deal with 300 Entertainment. Despite his keen understanding of songwriting, MikexAngel still considers himself a "student of the game" with musical influences ranging from Stevie Wonder and Usher.

In addition to opening for Trey Songz's sold out Tremaine Tour, MikexAngel is prepping for the release of his forthcoming project, Nothin to Somethin (#N2S) due out later this summer via Monopoly Enterprises and 300 Entertainment.
