106.7 FM, The Beat presents The 2010 Spring BeatRave at MotorCity Casino Hotel's Sound Board on Saturday, April 24th.

BeatRave will feature six live performers representing some of the unique high-energy music listeners can hear only on 106.7 FM The Beat: Stevie B., Lisa Lisa,
C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams, Rob Base, The Cover Girls, and Shannon.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, March 6th, at 10am at all Ticketmaster locations and at www.Ticketmaster.com . Listeners will also have the opportunity to score free tickets by listening to the station and visiting www.1067TheBeat.com BeatRave is produced in association with Vito Bruno Productions.

Stevie B., known as the King of Freestyle, is best-known for his 1990 number-one hit "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)".

Lisa Lisa was one of the original freestyle artists of the 1980s. Her second album spawned two #1 pop hits, "Head to Toe" and "Lost in Emotion".

C+C Music Factory produced seven number one Dance/Club Play hits in the early to mid 1990s. "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)", reached number one on Billboard's Hot 100 and R&B singles charts.

Rob Base is best known for the hit "It Takes Two" which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned a multi-platinum single certification.

The Cover Girls achieved chart success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with "Show Me" and "Wishing on a Star."

Shannon is best known for her 1983 million-selling record, "Let the Music Play". Today, it is ranked #23 among Billboard's best dance songs of all time.
