With a brand new 10,000 Maniacs album, Twice Told Tales, scheduled to be released on April 28, fans of this iconic alt-rock band have a lot to celebrate. And now there's one more reason to cheer as 10,000 Maniacs will be hitting the road this summer for series of special live performances on both coasts.

The band has been hard at work rehearsing songs from the new album, a full-length collection of traditional folk songs from the British Isles recast in the modern neo-folk sound that the Maniacs pioneered in the early '80s. Some of these Tales like the gorgeous "Do You Love An Apple" have been a part of the band's live repertoire since almost the beginning of their career, but the band looks forward to sharing more album highlights such as "Misty Moisty Morning" and "Canadee-I-O" in a live setting alongside many other fan favorites. Joining the band at select engagements on the tour will be founding member and guitarist John Lombardo, who also enjoyed success as one half of the duo John & Mary along with current 10KM vocalist Mary Ramsey.
