Kanisha K Releases New Single BRING ME HOME

Fast rising indie singer Kanisha K continues to mingle on the charts among some of the top pop icons of our era, hitting #1 for the third week in a row on the FMQB AC Add Board with "Bring Me Home," the red hot follow-up single to her breakthrough hit "My Another Day."

On the chart published June 17, the emerging Holland, Mich. based artist (www.kanishakmusic.com) - whose Facebook Artist Page now has over 18,000 fans - is tied with superstar major label artists Coldplay and Train, and is one slot above Katy Perry and Matt Nathanson.

"Bring Me Home" also made the incredible leap from #43 to #31 on the FMQB AC Top 200 chart, just below Perry and Bastille and above the new Michael Jackson/Justin Timberlake single.

Kanisha K's track also makes its debut at #49 on the Mediabase AC Chart, arriving just a few slots below Aloe Blacc, Ne-Yo and Imagine Dragons. "Bring Me Home" is also at #50 with a bullet on the BDS (Broadcast Data Systems) chart, which reports Billboard A/C activity.

Kanisha, who recently sang the National Anthem for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers Single a minor league affiliate, located in Comstock Park, MI, a suburb of Grand Rapids, recently announced several exciting upcoming gigs.

On June 20, she will be performing at the Park Theatre in Holland (www.hollandparktheater.com). She will be featured at H.O.M.E. at the B.O.B. inGrand Rapids on July 10 (thebob.com/homelivemusic.php). She returns there for a show on August 28.

She will be performing at The New Holland Brewery on July 19, and in The Lakeshore Public Radio Free Entertainment Tent at the Lake County Fair inCrown Point, Indiana on Thursday, August 7. As part of R&B/Pop Night, Kanisha will be headlining on a bill with the Michael Turner Band; Turner is the touring saxophonist with The Ohio Players.

"My Another Day" recently earned Kanisha her first Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) for Best Pop Song.

"Bring Me Home" was produced by veteran producer and artist Larry King (Soleil Moon, lead vocalist in the Michael Thompson Band & Larry King Orchestra). The track features some of Chicago's top musicians, including John Blasucci on keyboards, Khari Parker on drums, Lamar Jones on bass and guitarist Chris Siebold.

"My Another Day," which was a Top 40 hit on the Mediabase A/C chart, was conceived as a healing post-breakup song but adopted by many fans as an anthem about overcoming addiction.

The infectious track reached #5 on the FMQB AC40 Chart alongside superstars likePharrell Williams, Daughtry, One Direction, Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry andLorde.
