Josh C. Waller, director of the film MCCANick Starring the late Cory Monteith, shared an exclusive clip with Yahoo! Movies, which gives a first look at the actor's final film role. View the clip below.

In the crime drama, Monteith plays Simon Weeks, described as "a violent and drug-addicted street hustler." The film also stars David Morse as Eugene "Mack" McCanick, a detective who is in pursuit of his nemesis.

Monteith, best known for his role as Finn Hudson on the FOX TV series "Glee," was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver on Saturday, July 13th. He was 31 years old.

Over the weekend, Waller shared his memories of Monteith with the L.A. Times, revealing that he initially had hesitations about casting Monteith in the role. "In my mind, I was envisioning a teeny little drug guy [for Weeks], but Cory Monteith is this tall, strapping man," Waller shared. "But when I met with him, he wanted to do it so badly. He was very vocal about his past, and said he wanted to tap into things from his youth that he hadn't been able to use as an actor yet."
