Efron will be playing a grad student at Yale Law School who is blackmailed by a group of criminals into taking a job that requires him to spy on the world's largest law firm. His mission is to keep an eye on a billion dollar dispute the firm is settling between two influential defense contractors.

Efron and his co-producers, Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher, are on the look-out for a writer before shopping the film around to studios.

Efron is currently voice acting for Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 2, set to be finished later this year. He also just completed filming for Neighbors and That Awkward Moment. Other notable credits include The Paperboy, 17 Again, Hairspray, High School Musical 1 and 2, and more.
