Wes Bentley in Talks to Board Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR

Christopher Nolan is putting the final touches on the cast for his upcoming ensemble sci-fi film INTERSTELLAR.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wes Bentley is currently in negotiations for the final supporting role in the film. Should things work out, he would join previously announced Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Bill Irwin, Topher Grace and Mackenzie Foy.

Nolan directs from a script written by himself and his brother Jonathan Nolan. Not much has been revealed about the plot, which centers on a group of space explorers who get sucked through wormhole and end up in another dimension.

The actor known for his roles of Ricky Fitts in American Beauty(1999) and Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games (2012). He was one of four subjects in the documentary My Big Break (2009), which covered his fame after American Beauty and struggles with substance abuse. Bentley will also lead Ryan Murphy's new series Open on HBO.

He also starred in the premiere of Venus in Fur by David Ives in the off-Broadway production in 2010, whose run was extended. Most recently, he appeared as gamemaker Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games movie.
