"Up there on the screen, we can all fly, but down here on earth we need to be each other's wings," says this year's Oscar winner for Best Actor Eddie Redmayne in the new Screen Actors Guild Foundation public service announcement released online this week.

In addition to Redmayne, the SAG Foundation PSA features SAG Awards® winners Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox, Taylor Schilling and Danielle Brooks (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK); Felicity Jones (THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING); Andy Serkis (LORD OF THE RINGS, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES); Zach Braff (WISH I WAS HERE, SCRUBS); Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin (BLACK-ISH); Jenny Slate (OBVIOUS CHILD); Judith Light (TRANSPARENT); and SAG Foundation President JoBeth Williams. Actor and SAG Foundation supporter Julianna Margulies (THE GOOD WIFE) introduced a previous version of the PSA at the 21st Annual SAG Awards before the live broadcast.

All of the actors donated their time and talent to the project to help raise awareness and support for the SAG Foundation's free educational and assistance programs for SAG-AFTRA members and their families as well as its children's literacy programs that reach millions of students in Title I public schools every month nationwide.

"This year, the SAG Foundation celebrates 30 years of giving back to union performers, their families and our communities. We are so grateful to each one of these incredible actors who came in to the SAG Foundation to give back to us by helping us tell our story," says Cyd Wilson, Executive Director of the SAG Foundation. "The SAG Foundation is the patron of the artists who fuel the entertainment industry so it's critical the industry understand who we are and everything we do, which is a lot. This PSA is a great calling card and we're looking forward to passing it around."

The SAG Foundation 2015 PSA will screen before more than 900 free educational programs nationwide reaching live audiences of more than 40,000 union performers. It is also available online at sagfoundation.org/video-gallery and youtube.com/sagfoundation. The PSA has a running time of 1 minute and 32 seconds.
