VIDEO: Jessica Chastain Wants to Show Off Her Golden Globe on TODAY

Jessica Chastain stopped by the TODAY show this morning to talk about her latest film 'Mama.' The actress recently picked up a Golden Globe Award for her role in "Zero Dark Thirty," and admitted she has to fight the temptation to show off her prize everywhere she goes. "A friend of mine told me I should just walk around with it leading me, like walk into the theater for [Broadway's] 'The Heiress' with my Golden Globe!" she told TODAY's Savannah Guthrie Friday. Chastain currently stars in Broadway's The Heiress as 'Catherine Sloper'. The show also stars Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner David Strathairn as Dr. Austin Sloper, the leading man of "Downton Abbey" Dan Stevens as Morris Townsend and Tony Award winner Judith Ivey as Lavinia Penniman. Written by Ruth & Augustus Goetz, The Heiress is directed by two-time Tony Award nominated playwright and director Moisés Kaufman.

Her latest film, MAMA is a horror drama film, directed by Andres Muschietti from a screenplay by Muschetti, Barbara Muschetti and Neil Cross. The film is produced by J. Miles Dale and Barbara Muschietti, with Guillermo Del Toro serving as executive producer. Oscar nominee Chastain, now making her Broadway debut in The Heiress, stars along with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier, and Isabelle Nélisse.

In the film, a couple, Annabel and Lucas, are faced with the challenge of raising Lucas' young nieces, who were discovered in a forest after being lost there for five years. It becomes apparent that the girls are being haunted by a ghostly woman they believe to be their mother.Annabel plans to use the girls in a bid to bring back her own dead children.
