Broadway vet Idina Menzel appeared on the cover of the recent issue of Billboard Magazine. Photographed by Miller Mobley and styled by Kemal Harris of the bi-coastal styling duo, Kemal & Karla, the cover shoot took place on March 17th at New York's Ludlow Studios. Below, check out behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot in which the IF/THEN star is outfitted in four luxurious fashion looks.

"Idina is a classic beauty, and so we drew inspiration from classic Hollywood icons and styles," Harris tells THR of styling the shoot for the March 29 issue of Billboard. "We were inspired by the Hollywood starlets of the '50s and '60s, who were often photographed in their various stages of glamour."

Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Aida) is currently starring in If/Then, a new musical on Broadway that explores the effects chance and choice take on one woman's life. If/Then reuintes Menzel with Anthony Rapp, her original Rent co-star (the pair played Maureen and Mark, respectively). The musical also stars Tony award winner LaChanze (The Color Purple).

Additional New York stage work includes The Wild Party (MTC), Hair (Encores), and See What I Wanna See (Public). Menzel has performed internationally, both in musicals (she brought Elphaba to London's West End) and as herself in a concert tour. Other film and television credits include Enchanted, Ask the Dust, Glee, and Rent. Solo albums include Barefoot At The Symphony (a live recording of her PBS special by the same name), I Stand, Here, and Still I Can't Be Still.
