GRIND Trailer: OFFICIAL from Chemically Altered Productions on Vimeo.

"Grind", the independent musical short film starring Anthony Rapp (RENT), Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) and Pasha Pellosie (The Carrie Diaries, Law and Order: SVU), just released its first trailer. Check it out below!

Pellosie plays Thane, a handsome naif plucked from his small town and thrown into the largest of chiseled-jawed ponds: the New York City modeling scene. Finding a way to rise to the top through charm and smoldering looks, he is looking for more than just a hook-up in our modern day world of digital mobile dating apps. Thane has his roommate, Vincent (Anthony Rapp) use his intellect and witty banter to help him find a boy who will "stay the night" and make a deeper connection. Vincent's best friend, Autumn (Claire Coffee), is intrigued with the gay hook-up culture that offers easily accessible sex with the simple exchange of a few texts. "Grind" takes a sexy and artistic look at the ways we connect in today's multi screened hook up culture and asks, "Do you REALLY know who you're talking to?"

Joining the cast in supporting roles include: Ravi Roth (Altar Boyz), Matt Shingledecker (Rent, West Side Story), Joshua Cruz (Elliot Loves, Big Gay Musical, Sex and the City 2), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell) and Jennifer Babiak (Fiddler on the Roof).

Previously announced cast in supporting roles include: Trey Gerrald (NBC's Next Caller), Drew Brody (M-Lab), Adam Halpin (Dog Fight), JoNathan Chang (Violet Tendencies), and Danny Blu (The Factory Blu).

"Grind" is brought to you by a group of artists from the big apple- including: Zachary Halley, Writer/ Director/ Producer; Selda Sahin, Lyricist and Producer; Derek Gregor, Composer and Producer; Telly Leung, Producer; Sing Out Louise!
