Amy Adams stars as real life artist Margaret Keane in Tim Burton's upcoming drama BIG EYES. The film, hitting theaters Christmas Day, also stars Christoph Waltz, Danny Huston, Krysten Ritter, Jason Schwartzman and Terence Stamp. Check out the just-released trailer below!

Directed and produced by Burton, Big Eyes is based on the true story of Walter Keane (Waltz), one of the most successful painters of the 50s and 60s. The artist became reknown for sparking the commercialization and accessibility of art with his puzzling works of waifs with noticeably big eyes. paintings of waifs with big eyes. Eventually, it was revealed that it was his wife, artist Margaret Keanes, who had actually painted the portraits.

The film follows Margaret's artistic blossooming, the eventual success of her works, and her erratic and difficult relationship with her husband, who achieved international fame for taking the credit for her work.
