To honor actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died last month from a drug overdose at the age of 46, filmmaker Caleb Slain put together a 20-minute montage of clips from his lifetime in cinema. Watch the tribute below!

Along with the video, Slain wrote: "200 hours of work went into breaking down 47 of Hoffman's films. Compiling his legacy has been one of the most challenging experiences I've ever faced as an editor, and yet indescribably rewarding. I can assure you that after 22 years on screen and nearly fifty films, we now look at the work of an actor who never had a single dishonest moment on camera. I know because I've seen them all. Please take a breather and raise your glasses to one of our greatest."

The video includes clips from Hoffman's appearances in films such as The Master, Moneyball, Jack Goes Boating, Mary and Max, Doubt, Capote, Cold Mountain, Punch-Drunk Love, Almost Famous, Twister, Leap of Faith and more.

Hoffman most recently appeared on stage in 2012's Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman, for which he received a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Play. The show marked his return to Broadway for the first time since his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated performance in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night in 2003. He also received a Tony Award nomination in 2000 for his performance in Sam Shepard's True West.
