Composer-lyricists Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan (Silence! The Musical) have put together a theatrical plea to Lionsgate to start work on a DREDD film sequel. Fans have been hoping for a follow-up for some time -- maybe "Dredd: the Musical" will seal the deal. Check it out below!

The first film came out in 2012, directed by Pete Travis from a script by Alex Garland. DREDD is based on the 2000 AD comic strip JUDGE DREDD. Karl Urban stars on-screen as the title character, a law enforcer in Mega-City One, set in the post-apocalyptic future. Also in the cast are Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey and Wood Harris.
