Tony Nominee Tammy Blanchard Joins Cast of Dramedy TALLULAH

Variety reports that Tammy Blanchard, who recently appeared in Disney's big screen adaptation of "Into the Woods" and 'X-Men's Evan Jonigkeit will join Ellen Page and Allison Janney in the upcoming dramedy "Tallulah." Zachary Quinto, Uzo Aduba, David Zayas and John Benjamin Hickey also star.

Sian Heder will helm the project from her screenplay which tells the story of "a free spirit who everybody thinks has kidnapped a baby after she rescues the child from her reckless mother."

Shooting is curently underway in New York City.

Blanchard was nominated for Tony Awards for her roles in the 2003 revival of Gypsy, as well as 2011's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. She also received a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of youngJudy Garland in ABC's Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, for which she won an Emmy.

Blanchard's next projects include Blue Jasmine and La vida inesperada. Past film credits include Moneyball, Rabbit Hole, Deadline, The Good Shepherd and more. She has appeared in the TV series The Big C, The Good Wife and Guiding Light.
