Tom Hardy to Star in Film Adaptation of Video Game Series SPLINTER CELL
Action star Tom Hardy is reportedly set to star in video game Production Company Ubisoft's film adaption of their hit video game series, Tom Clancy'S SPLINTER CELL. Variety first announced the casting choice earlier this afternoon.
Ubisoft is taking on the project internally for now, in preparation of shopping the film to other studios as pre-production moves forward. Eric Singer (AMERICAN BULLSHIT) is set to pen the film.

Hardy is best known for his role as 'Bane' in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and has also appeared in INCEPTION - both directed by the acclaimed Christopher Nolan.
