According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Weinstein Co. will adapt a YA novel by SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK author Matthew Quick -- titled EVERY EXQUISITE THING -- for the big screen.

EVERY EXQUISITE THING centers on "a goody two-shoes student-athlete who starts to get in touch with her wild side after reading a cult classic novel."

TWC and Quick previously worked together on the 2012 film version of SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, helmed by David O. Russell and starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, who won the Oscar for Best Actress that year. The movie was nominated for a total of eight Academy Awards.

TWC is also adapting Quick's FORGIVE ME, LEONARD PEACOCK, while the author's SORTA LIKE A ROCK STAR was picked up by Fox Searchlight, THE GOOD LUCK OF RIGHT NOW is sitting with DreamWorks, and his upcoming book LOVE MAY FAIL is already in the works with Sony.
