The Revivalists craft a genre-hopping sound that rounds out traditional rock instrumentation with horns and pedal steel guitar and mixes the divergent backgrounds of its members with the humid, funky undercurrents of their New Orleans home. The result is like English spoken with an exotic accent: familiar, yet difficult to pin down.

The Big Easy septet is constantly on the road so it's fitting that their new video show the daydream of their lives, both on and off the stage. Nylon Guys premiered the video for "Navigate Below" last week saying, "The Revivalists have managed to craft a genre-hopping sound all their own-one that translates all too well during live performances... The guys bring an undeniable big sound to the stage that's backed by a plethora of instrumental talent that's impossible to ignore."

Guitarist Zack Feinberg adds, "When we wrote the song we wanted to be on the road playing music as much as possible. The video is kind of like a hopeful daydream about the thrills and challenges of the road ahead."

The Revivalists start yet another run of shows this Friday, August 8 when they perform at FMQB's Triple A Radio Conference in Boulder, Colorado alongside Ray LaMontagne, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Father John Misty, Train, Warpaint and more. They'll be playing The Fox Theatre @ The Hill Stage at 8:00pm. The following week they'll be in the studio with John Schaefer for WNYC's Soundcheck on Thursday, August 14 ahead of their show that evening at Watermark with The London Souls also performing. A full list of tour dates can be found below.

The band were recently featured as an Amazon "Artist to Watch" alongside Bad Suns, Flume and Rival Sons and as part of the promotion fans were able to download "Navigate Below" for free. The Revivalists have been touring non-stop the last few years, dominating the festival circuit playing Bonnaroo, Jazz Fest, Voodoo Festival, Governor's Ball, Hangout, Mountain Jam and countless others. Their upcoming dates feature even more fest stops at Peach Festival, Lockn', Phases of the Moon and Harvest as well as stops at the Terminal West in Atlanta and a Halloween show at Emo's in Austin before a home-town blowout at Tipitina's on November 1.

Wind-up Records released The Revivalists' album City of Sound with eight live bonus tracks in March during Mardi Gras and the band followed with a monumental performance at Jazzfest in their hometown of New Orleans, which was captured by Rolling Stone, Spin, American Songwriter, Relix and more. They've been featured by everyone from USA Today and Fuse TV to Paste, The Huffington Post and Daytrotter. The band appropriately also performed on the fourth and final season of HBO's acclaimed drama series, Treme.
