Another trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson's THE MASTER, from The Weinstein Company, has been released. While the first trailer focused on Joaquin Phoenix's character, the latest features the film's Philip Seymour Hoffman in the title role. Get a first look below!

The film was written by Paul Thomas Anderson and stars Amy Adams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons, Rami Male and Jillian Bell.

THE MASTERS is a 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as "the Master" whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.

Hoffman's Broadway credits include True West, Long Day's Journey Into Night and the recent Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman. Off-Broadway he has appeared in Jack Goes Boating, The Seagull, The Author's Voice and Imagining Brad, Shopping and F******, Defying Gravity, and The Striker. He has also directed and served as artistic director for several Off-Broadway shows including The Little Flower of East Orange, Unconditional, A View from 151st Street, School of the Americas, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Sailor's Song, Guinea Pig Solo, Dutch Heart of Man, Our Lady of 121st Street, The Glory of Living, and Jesus Hopped the A Train.
