The fifth graders who make up the Public School 22 chorus in Staten Island, New York will perform on the 83rd Academy Awards®, telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today.

Cohen and Oscar® co-host Anne Hathaway were on hand Thursday night at the children's annual Winter program to surprise the chorus members and their families with the news of the February 27 performance.

Over the years, the chorus has performed on "Good Morning America" and "VH1 Divas" as well as at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and at the National Tree Lighting ceremony at the White House.
