STAGE TUBE: Alan Menken and Ellen Greene Perform After Director's Cut of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at NYFF

The Film Society of Lincoln Center's 2012 NYFF featured as part of its Masterworks program the Director’s Cut of Frank Oz’s Little Shop OF HORRORS (1986). At the presentation were the director, Ellen Greene, Alan Menken and more. Below, watch Menken perform "Suddenly Seymour" and Greene sing "Somewhere That's Green" from the show!

Composer and lyricist Alan Menken's Broadway credits include God Bless You Mr Rosewater, Little Shop Of Horrors, Real Life Funnies, Atina: Evil Queen Of The Galaxy, Kicks, The Apprenticeship Of Duddy Kravitz, Beauty And The Beast, A Christmas Carol, Weird Romance, King David, Der Glockner Von Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Sister Act, Leap Of Faith, Aladdin and Newsies. His film work features Little Shop Of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, Newsies, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Hercules, Life With Mikey, Lincoln, Home On The Range, Noel, Enchanted, Shaggy Dog, Tangled and Mirror Mirror. He has been awarded 8 Oscars (19 nominations), 11 Grammys (including Song of the Year), 7 Golden Globes, 3 Tony nominations, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, New York Drama Critics, Olivier and London's Evening Standard.

Ellen Greene's Broadway acting credits include Three Men on a Horse, The Threepenny Opera, Rachael Lily Rosenbloom and Don't You Ever Forget It and The Little Prince and the Aviator. She has also played The West End in Betwixt! and her off-Broadway appearances include Weird Romance, Starting Monday, Little Shop of Horrors, Wake Up, It's Time to Go to Bed, In the Boom Boom Room and more.
