As The Hollywood Reporter learned earlier tonight, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, will no longer open nationwide Nov. 21. Rather, David O. Russell's drama will only open in 10-15 theaters this weekend, and continue premiering around the country through December.

On Nov. 21, its original opening day, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK will only be playing in around 400 theaters. The film has debuted to rave reviews - already garnering Oscar buzz - but audiences will now have to wait up to a month longer to finally see the film.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOKS follows a former teacher, who, after spending four years in am ental institution, moves back in with his mother and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife.

Starring Cooper, Lawrence, Julia Stiles and Robert DeNiro, the drama received awards at both the Toronto and Hamptons film festivals.
