See You Next Tuesday (Dark Comedy-Drama, 2013, 82 min.) -
Mona, played by Eleanore Pienta (The Unspeakable Act, 7 Chinese Brothers opposite Jason Schwartzman), is a mentally unbalanced and very pregnant young woman in a hideous orange coat. Without any friends to speak of and alienated from her hoochie mama coworkers at a crummy Brooklyn supermarket, Mona maintains a strangely close relationship with her campy, recovering alcoholic mother, May, played by Dana Eskelson (3 Backyards, Deep Powder, The Americans). Mona's sister, Jordan, played by Molly Plunk (Profane, Schizcago), is an unemployable party girl, estranged from May and making life hell for her increasingly Fed Up girlfriend, Sylve, played by Keisha Zollar (Orange is the New Black). In the final days of her pregnancy, Mona draws her mother, sister, and anybody who happens to get caught in her wake, into her hectic life as she drifts further from reality.??
Featuring a tapestry of diverse characters with varying levels of sanity and awful taste in wardrobe, See You Next Tuesday is a dark comedy-drama the whole family can enjoy cutting themselves to. Shot in Brooklyn, the film also features appearances by cult legend Beverly Bonner (Basket Case, Brain Damage, Frankenhooker), actor/director Ingrid Jungermann (The Slope, F to 7th), and Karley Scioritino (aka Vice Magazine's Slutever, who also writes for Vogue and The Huffington Post). Original music for the film was composed by Brian McOmber, formerly of the Dirty Projectors.
