Running Wild Films and 5J Media are pleased to announce that Tom Sizemore has been cast in the lead role of Jack Durant in their next feature film, Durant's Never Closes. Tom Sizemore is an American film and television actor and producer best known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, True Romance, Heat, and Natural Born Killers. Sizemore will also be appearing in the upcoming SundanceTV show Red Road.

Durant's Never Closes is a crime/drama and biopic of Jack Durant, a restaurateur, ladies' man, and a mysterious man connected to the mob. >From the backwoods of Tennessee to the world of Vegas at the time of Bugsy Siegel, and finally as the owner of his famous steakhouse, Durant is a legend and dynamic character, at once charming, powerful and dangerous. This film tells his story during one single day at his restaurant. Durant's Never Closes is based on the books written by Mabel Leo and the play written by Terry Earp.

Film production for Durant's Never Closes will take place in Phoenix, Arizona and other locations around Arizona starting in November 2014. Auditions for additional roles took place at the Hotel Clarendon in Phoenix, AZ on June 28, 2014. The Hotel Clarendon plays a central role in Durant's Never Closes because it was the site where Don Bolles, an investigative reporter, was murdered in a car bombing, an assassination that was rumored to have been planned at Durant's steakhouse

Running Wild Films is in negotiations with other actors, and additional casting decisions will be announced soon.
