A BRIDESMAIDS reunion may be looming.

According to The Wrap, Rose Byrne is in early talks to join her former co-star Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig's upcoming action comedy SUSAN COOPER. A deal is far from dry, the report notes, though given the trio's past working relationship and Feig's desire to produce strong, female-driven projects, Byrne boarding the project is fairly likely.

SUSAN COOPER "is being developed as a potential franchise in the same tone as "The Heat," will be a realistic comedy about a female James Bond-type."

Byrne last appeared in The Internship. Her upcoming projects include Tumbledown, This Is Where I Leave You, Townies, Insidious: Chapter 2 and The Turning. Past film credits include I Give It A Year, The Place Beyond the Pines, X-Men: First Class, Bridesmaids, Insidious, Get Him to the Greek, Knowing, Marie Antoinette, Wicker Park and more. She has also appeared in the TV series Damages. She recently signed on for the upcoming modernization of Annie, starring Quvenzhane Wallis, Cameron Diaz, and Jamie Foxx.
