PITCH PERFECT Director Jason Moore Enlists Tina Fey for THE NEST
Jason Moore, the man behind the runaway hit PITCH PERFECT, is reportedly in talks to take the helm on THE NEST, an upcoming comedy with Tina Fey attached. Deadline first broke the news this afternoon.
Penned by SNL writer Paula Pell, THE NEST follows "two thirtysomething sisters come home to find their parents' house has been put up for sale. They spend a last wild weekend together, bonding and feuding and finally growing up," according to Deadline.
Fey has just wrapped her NBC comedy 30 ROCK after seven seasons, and is set to star in THE MUPPETS...AGAIN, the follow-up to the 2011 film starring Jason Segel.
Moore is best known for his work on Broadway, aside from PITCH PERFECT, he most recently directed the ACT production of Tales of the City in San Francisco. His additional theatre credits include: on Broadway, Shrek The Musical (Outer Critics and Drama Desk nominations for Best Director), Avenue Q (Tony nomination for Best Director) and Steel Magnolias.
