Theatre producer Edmund Gaynes will be a special guest at The Paley Center for Media's screening of Mary Martin's legendary TV version of PETER PAN today. Mr. Gaynes, who began his career as a child actor on TV and Broadway, played the lost boy ‘Slightly' in the much-loved 1960 TV version of Barrie's story. The screening, at NYC's Paley Center for Media, 25 West 52nd Street, begins at 2 PM.

Ed said: "Prior to PETER PAN I had already acted in over 100 TV shows and four Broadway shows, including GREENWILLOW with Anthony Perkins." His TV credits included dramatic roles on such shows as "Robert Montgomery Presents", "HallMark Hall of Fame", "Armstrong Circle Theatre" and "Playhouse 90" among many others. Following PETER PAN, Ed's TV credits included a recurring role on "The Patty Duke Show" and two years as Paul Stewart on "As the World Turns". His final TV appearance before turning full-time to producing was a guest role on NBC's CHEERS in 1990.

Mr. Gaynes operates St. Luke's Theatre and Actors Temple Theatre, both located in the heart of the theatre district. St Luke's Theatre is currently presenting "DANNY AND SYLVIA: The Danny Kaye Musical" and "THE DEVIL'S MUSIC: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith". Actors Temple Theatre is presenting "HARRY & EDDIE: The Birth of Israel" and "BLACK ANGELS OVER TUSKEGEE".

Mr. Gaynes will be joined at the screening by the original Tiger Lily, Sondra Lee. For more information on the PETER PAN screening go to http://www.paleycenter.org
